Sound found me
before I had words for it
Music reached me before the technology did. Long before I understood anything about drivers, cabinets or crossovers, I knew what sound could do to a person: how it steadies a room, slows the breath and reaches places words cannot. That feeling is the reason I ended up in sound technology at all.
It led me through twenty-five years of listening, experimenting and building systems for music production, IMAX theaters and post-production studios, inventing wireless audio systems and reimagining how people experience sound in a room. In recent years that path led me into wellness technology, where sound is used deliberately for its effect on the body and mind.
Today I lead Biotune, a frequency technology company delivering results-based wellness through sound, vibration and real-time biofeedback. And I keep returning to the physical instrument, because a console you live with is where all of that knowledge has to prove itself.
Where restoration meets innovation.

The work
Made on the bench
Twenty-five years of studio work taught me to listen: tonal balance, clarity, imaging, a system that tells you what is in the recording. I bring that discipline to the intimate scale of a stereo console.
Retro-engineered means preserving a cabinet's authentic look while designing a modern system around its particular character. Speakers and amplification are auditioned together, analog and digital sources are integrated, and the finished system is measured and voiced for the room it will live in.
The figuring out happens here, on the bench, over weeks. That part is slow and does not scale, which is exactly why there is only ever one console on this site.
Pairing
Knowing which vintage parts genuinely performed, and which were only ever furniture.
Retrofit
Speakers and amplification selected together, integrated into the restored cabinet.
Integration
Seamless by design, so you never have to figure any of it out.
Testing
Measured, then voiced by ear, until everything performs to the highest standard.
Why Kintsugi
A better
second life
I knew nothing about Kintsugi until my girlfriend told me about it. A piece of her pottery had broken, and she repaired it with gold. Something that had gone out of use came back more beautiful than before.
That idea became Kintsugi Sound. A cabinet that had fallen silent, no longer used the way it once was, is restored until it becomes the centerpiece of a room again. And instead of an evening around the television, it gives you deep listening: something that touches the soul.
The mission
Deep listening is the mission.
Years in wellness technology showed me the therapeutic effects of music, in every kind of community. Every console built here is part of that.
One console at a time.
Each cabinet receives my full attention, from restoration and component selection to listening and refinement. I share its history, build photographs and installed equipment so you can understand the piece you are bringing home.
